Technology continues to transform esthetic practice, but achieving safe, effective results begins with understanding what each device actually does. This course takes a practical, science-based look at radio frequency, LED, ultrasound, microcurrent, iontophoresis, and other commonly used esthetic technologies.

Participants will explore how different forms of energy interact with the skin, including their physiological effects, indications, contraindications, treatment parameters, expected outcomes, and limitations. Learn how to select the appropriate technology for different skin concerns, incorporate devices into customized treatments, and thoughtfully sequence or combine modalities without unnecessarily overstimulating the skin.

The course will also examine the differences between professional and at-home devices, helping providers evaluate equipment, question marketing claims, communicate realistic expectations, and make informed decisions within their scope of practice.

Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of esthetic technology and greater confidence in developing safe, purposeful, and results-focused treatment protocols.
